Authoritative, cross-referenced and civilised public discourse is key to Govwatch’s success, and consequently to making a substantial contribution towards participatory democracy. Managing the reports submitted to the platform by citizens is a priority for our team. Govwatch is committed to neutrality, objectivity and impartiality in content management.
2. General Rules
All reports submitted to the Govwatch platform are read by a team of administrators who approve them for publication, provided that they do not violate this Code of Conduct. Every user who wishes to submit a signed report must register on the digital platform using their email or social media account.
The Govwatch management team reserves the right to exclude any user that repeatedly violates this Code of Conduct from the platform, while reserving any legal rights provided in the relevant legislation.

4. How can you make a positive contribution to Govwatch?
Be sure that any suggestions or comments in your reports are directly related to the issue. Obviously, each issue is part of a more general context, but public debate is facilitated by targeted and specific texts.
Be sure that your reports are written in a brief and concise manner, in line with what has already been published.
Try to document what you write with references to the relevant legislation, other texts and material or links with similar content. Any inappropriate links such as spam or third party ads etc., will be removed.
Make sure that the content you submit does not infringe on the rights of other persons in any way.
Reports submitted by organisations, companies, or associations must be signed with the name of the individual author.
The purpose of the platform is to provide substantiated, impartial, and timely information to the public, and to enable the fruitful exchange of views. It is therefore important for the sake of the quality and effectiveness of public debate to avoid personal confrontation.
Suggestions, comments, hyperlinks, or any other content that is abusive, vulgar, or contains or incites intolerance and discrimination based on gender, age, sexual orientation, racial or ethnic origin, or religious beliefs will not be published.
